I try to travel abroad in my summer holidays and discover more or less new cultures. I don´t usually travel very far so that I stay, more or less, inside the occidental culture scope.
This summer I have been in London and visited the great Science Museum. They have a lot of steam engines and locomotives and Baggage differential engine number 2. Incredible exhibition for me, something to be really proud, I think.
But this is positioning and marketing, too. Country and history level, off course. And, I have to go back and think about Spain and what has Spain gave to the actual occidental culture and how we "sell" it today.
Sure you agree with me that it is not only important to do great things, you have to promote them and yourself, again and again. Spaniards should remember ourselves, and the whole world, what we have done in the past, and what we actually do for the development and improvement of our own culture. And this with a competitive view. This is not patriotism but business and marketing. The salesman has to be really proud of the product is selling and we should be very proud of our country and reclaim all the good things we have done so that we may claim an important place in modern world.
